The Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. (PDRCI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization incorporated in 1996 out of the Arbitration Committee of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). PDRCI promotes and encourages the use of arbitration, mediation and other modes of avoiding or settling commercial disputes such as dispute boards, and provides alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services to the business community. Its membership is composed of prominent individuals and professionals such as lawyers, former members of the judiciary, academics, architects and engineers, doctors, accountants, bankers and businessmen.
PDRCI continues to enhance and broaden its ADR advocacy. It administers arbitration and mediation in specialized fields such as maritime, banking, finance, insurance, securities, and intellectual property.
With the globalization of trade and services, PDRCI has forged cooperation agreements with international arbitration centers such as the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, the Indian Council of Arbitration, the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia, and the Singapore International Mediation Centre.
It networks with the various committees of the International Chamber of Commerce, among which is the International Court of Arbitration. It recently forged a strategic partnership agreement with the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation and the Philippine Institute for Arbitrators.
On November 2, 2004, PDRCI teamed with 16 other arbitration centers and associations within the Asia Pacific region to form the Asia Pacific Regional Arbitration Group (APRAG) in Sydney, Australia.
In June 2011, PDRCI moved to its new office at the Commerce & Industry Plaza (PCCI Building), McKinley Town Center in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
